In the beginning there was darkness…
So welcome welcome welcome to my blog. This is to be a rambling incoherency by nature, so be all prepared for nonsense unceasing.
As Ken was the one who encouraged me to get on with this concept, I figured my inaugural music review should be Interpol’s Our Love to Admire, which he asked me to review roughly an aeon ago (or anyway back around when it was released last June.
However, this post is for introductory remarks and an explanation of a thing or two. My plot here is to chronicle roughly everything pop culture I’m taking in, because my intake is truly prodigious.
This means reviews in snapshot of whatever it is I’ve listened to/watched/read each day, or current obsessions, and et cetera. Longer reviews of movies when the mood strikes me. Since my primary avenue for music reviewing is over yonder at rateyourmusic, where I’ve already put up about 800 reviews there, I’ll still be posting them there, but I’ll copy them here and tag them for easy finding, link them up and suchlike.
Anyway, comment, argue my points, have at it. I’ll keep this up-to-date as long as I don’t get bored or distracted, which I am notorious for doing. I’m still getting the hang of this thing so it may take me some time to get used to linking things. Please excuse the mess.
I’ll take requests as best as possible, and if I’m reviewing music that’s rare or out of print, I can upload it somewhere for people to check it out if anyone’s interested.
PS: THIS BLOG WILL NOT BE MUNDANE DETAILING OF MY DULL FUCKING LIFE AND IF IT COMES TO THAT I WILL RAIN DOWN HELLFIRE AND BRIMSTONE ON IT MYSELF. THAT IS MY PLEDGE TO YOU, THE READER.

Luckily for me, the mundane detailing of my dull fucking life is actually really interesting and provocative.
